Electric Pyramid gives us a taste with new single and video for 1989.
London’s Electric Pyramid will release their debut single, “1989” on June 10. To be released on Transistor Project, the group is set for a European tour with Queen and Adam Lambert.
Stemming from classic rock influences, the band bounces around rock prowess that is neither classical nor is it progressive. The group is currently holed up in a recording studio in Cornwall working on the debut album with John Cornfield, who worked with Muse and Supergrass. If “1989” is any indication, Cornfield has a heavy hand into the the direction and tone of the groups single as it fits right in with that continuum. From the ooh-oohs to the rock power leanings, this song is one to sit back and take it all in. Looks like 2016 is going to be the year this pyramid will shine bright.
