Metal Blade Celebrates 35 Years with Anniversary Tour

Metal Blade on Selective Memory

Cattle Decapitation, Goatwhore, Allegaeon, Necromancing the Stone, and Whitechapel perform at Old National for the Metal Blade 35th Anniversary Tour

If you listen to metal, you know Metal Blade Records. Founded in 1982 by Brian Slagel, Metal Blade gave us the introduction to debuts from such bands as Slayer and Corrosion of Conformity.

Today, Metal Blade continues to be the lifeforce in the world of metal. To commemorate the 35th anniversary of the founding of Metal Blade Records, a tour consisting of bands ranging from melodic to extreme and brutal to downright savage, embarked on a powerful tour.

Invading the Old National Centre’s Deluxe Room on March 1, Necromancing The Stone, Allegaeon, GoatWhore, Cattle Decapitation (an accompanying video and photo feature is to follow) and Whitechapel, arrived with sonic fury. They were all hellbent on shaking the building loose from its foundation.
